Giving up learning, is giving up on yourself.
Knowledge changes the fate, and studying helps one's personal and corporate path. Learning isn't a task during a certain stage in life; it is a lifelong habit and shouldn't be limited to age. Whether for an enterprise or an employee, giving up the act of opening your mind and learning, is essentially giving up on the opportunity for development.
The hardest thing to open is a closed mind.
Some people are set in their ways and have a closed mind. No matter how good of a salesperson you are, all your talking will do no good; and though you could be persistent with these people, it's best to move on. As an entrepreneur, the first thing to accept is that what you're selling doesn't appeal to everyone. Find your niche market, and guide them properly – everything else is a waste of time.
Celebrate your successes privately.
It's human nature to be proud of what we accomplish and want to share it with the world. Buying fancy cars and fashioning even fancier offices isn't going to cut it in the long run. In the end all it will do is create enmity with competitors and attract unnecessary attention. Focus on your work and let your successes drive you, rather than drive your clients away.
Stop only when you are done.
Always think ahead; always plan your next step. Not only will this prepare you for the future, but it will keep you on your toes. There are many moments in a person’s career where it will be tempting to take the easy way out and give up; no matter how exhausted or defeated you feel, always be persistent. Always keep going and only stop when you've accomplished every single one of your goals.
